Mike is available as a solo artist or with his very talented  6 piece band, The Rockin' Billies! They play all your favorite Vintage Country Songs, Rockabilly, and originals. This talented team of musicians have opened for April Wine, Kim Mitchell, Tristan Horncastle, Gordie McKeeman, and have played shows with Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame Drummer and The man behind the beat for the King Of Rock n Roll ( Evis Presley )  - D.J. Fontana,

His 2nd CD, "Coverin Hank", will features 11 classic Hank Williams Sr. tunes and 3 brand new originals. Every instrument, voice, percussion are all done by Mike and recorded at home in his basement during the winter of 2011-12.
Listen close and you can hear the dog's collar, or the sound of a glass tinkling on some songs. It's just like being with Mike in your front room at an old fashioned Kitchen Party. These tracks were mixed and mastered by Brad Perry at The Recordery Studios in Fredericton

Mike's next CD - "Chapters - Adventures In A Bookstore"  will be available early spring, 2018,  and will contain 8 original songs recorded with his band The Rockin Billies. The first single The Black And White Song is available on iTunes, Spotify and CD Baby.

Mike Bravener was born in Etobicoke Ontario in 1961 and moved to the maritime's at the age of 15. He currently resides in Fredericton N.B. in a beautiful home, with a wonderful wife 4 children and a grandson!.

As a young boy growing up in Southern Ontario Mike would spend a lot of time at his grandparents cottage in a little place known as Johnson's Harbor. Just out side of Owen-Sound Mike would spend his days fishing, exploring and listening to old 78 records and in later years 8 track tapes of some of the great country and western recording artists ever. It was this influence that engraved a deep love for classic country on Mike's soul. At the age of 41 Mike left his career as a Clergyman and entered the world of entertainment full-time

Mike's 1st cd, available on Itunes, entitled "Sinner" was recorded with The Rockin Billies. 1000 copies sold in just under 2 years and enjoyed local airplay. 

The Rockin Billies played at Harvest Jazz and Blues, The Nashawaak Music Fest, Atlantic National Car Show, Cavendish Country Music Fest, FREX ROD, CBC Galaxie of Rising Stars as well as the Sirius XM Radio stage in Collingwood ON. "Sinner" received great reviews from 3 Rockabilly magazines based in Europe!
​​Mike is also known as "Elvis" in and around the Fredericton area. Mike's Tribute shows have taken him all over New Brunswick and into Nova -Scotia, Maine,  Vermont, New Hampshire, Quebec, and Southern Ontario.​​

He has won many awards in the last few years for his tribute to elvis, Including the Ultimate Elvis Myspace Karaoke Championship in which he beat out over 3000 world wide entries.

This win sent him to Memphis where he was declared by Elvis Presley Enterprises as one of the top 20 Tribute Artists in the world.

Mike has also performed 4 shows with "Elvis" original drummer, and Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame Member D.J. Fontana. DJ is quoted as describing Mike's show as "One of the best that I have ever seen" Classic Drummer Magazine in a december 2011 issue referred to Mike as Canada's greatest Elvis Tribute Artist.
